A Year in Review
*“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12*
2015 has flown by, “like a tale that is told” Psalm 90:9 - the Lord has been gracious and given much help by His amazing grace.
Last year Mike flew close to 100,000 miles,[some carbon footprint!], was away from home about 200 days, that was significantly down on previous years. He visited Canada seven times, which is a record for him, and spent two months in Malaysia. We praise the Lord for safety over many miles, for continued stamina and health, although he did have one emergency landing, one fall due to turbulence and fell down a flight of stairs as well, but all of the above only resulted in bruising and soreness – no broken bones for which we thank the Lord. He also battled sickness on two occasions while away preaching but never missed a speaking engagement. We also thank the Lord for help given in ministry on many subjects in both the Gospel and ministry, for souls saved, saints encouraged, and Christ magnified and glorified through it all. All glory to Him alone.
Ann Marie also traveled some this year, including a trip to Ireland to help minister to many hurting people who remain resistant to the Gospel. Please pray on for further trips and for the Lord to open hearts to the truth of the simple Gospel of the grace of God. Suicide remains rampant amongst all ages – pray for the true light of the Gospel to penetrate that land. She was also able to make some trips with Mike to Florida, Tennessee, and Vancouver, BC, her first visit to Canada.
We do thank you so much for your practical and prayer support over the past year, we are conscious of your labors on our behalf. Remember that the “effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16
In terms of our own personal growth, the topics that have been captivating our minds are: 1. Personal Holiness - in the words of Robert Murray McCheyne - to seek to be “as Holy as it is possible for a saved sinner to be.” 2. The work of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life. 3. Prevailing Prayer. 4. Zeal for the Gospel.

We sincerely thank you for standing with us in the gap. May you know that you are most valued and esteemed highly for upholding us in your prayers. It is only by the grace of God and your prayers that we continue to press on through perilous times and seek to strengthen the Church wherever He leads and make Christ known for His glory.
